How to Unzip Files on Windows – Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Locate the Zip File
Go to the location where you saved the zip file, usually in your Downloads or Documents folder.
Step 2: Right-Click on the Zip File
Right-click on the zip file you want to unzip, and a menu will pop up.
Step 3: Select “Extract All”
From the menu, click on “Extract All…” to begin the unzipping process.
Step 4: Choose the Destination Folder
A window will appear asking where you want to extract the files. You can either keep the default location or select a different folder.
Step 5: Extract the Files
Once the location is chosen, click “Extract.” Windows will unzip the file and save the extracted files in the specified folder.
Step 6: Access the Unzipped Files
